Right now the work of the The Barnwell Community Soup Kitchen is increasing and more people are being fed each week. This is an important ministry, feeding the hungry and disadvantaged of our community is an obligation we need to take very seriously. Unfortunately, as with any ministry that runs for a long time, people burn out and their leadership is strained. If you would be interested in taking up some of the slack we would appreciate your volunteering.
The Christ Presbyterian Church serves on the second and fifth Mondays of each month. Right now we are also trying to add a couple of days a month to meet some extra needs. If you can help in this ministry please call the church at 803-259-5653 and let the Pastor know. Your help would be appreciated!
Also we need some leadership on the committee, if you can help lead this committee please contact Elder Bob Weis who heads the Outreach Commission.
